Shoreline lots, bulkheads and docks
The lake side of Heath is a run of steep lots where retaining walls, bulkheads and boat docks need rebuilding every few years. A Heath shoreline job puts the crew below the house and the unit above it, because nothing on wheels should be parked on a slope that falls to the water.
Access is the whole question on a Heath waterfront property, since the drive often ends in a turning circle with no through route. We check the Heath approach before delivery and set the unit where the service truck can pull straight out rather than reverse down a grade.
Acreage houses and outbuildings
Away from the water, Heath is large lots with custom houses, barns and workshops going up over long build programs. A Heath acreage build keeps one standard unit and a handwashing station in place from the slab pour through the final punch list.
Trades come and go on a Heath build with weeks between them, so we set an every two weeks service and step it up once the finish crews overlap. If the Heath drive is still raw clay we ask for a rocked pad, because a loaded truck will cut ruts nobody wants to grade out later.
Septic systems and the clay underneath
Plenty of Heath property runs on aerobic septic, and field replacement is steady work through the drier months when a machine can operate. A Heath septic crew wants the unit up by the staging area, well clear of the open field and the spoil piles.
Blackland clay across Heath swells after rain and then cracks wide open in August, which is hard on drives and on anything set on bare ground. Where a Heath site has no hard surface we bring plywood or ask the owner to lay a small pad of crushed rock first.
